Representing Land and Houses Plc, Mr. Adul Chuvanichanon, Deputy Managing Director (left), accepted a project design award from Mr. Boonsong Pitakraksanti, Chairman, Tandem Architects (2001) Co., Ltd., for The Bangkok Thonglor condominium project. Tandem Architects (2001) designed this project, which has landed three International Property Awards, namely AWARD WINNER – Residential High-Rise Architecture Thailand, Best – Residential High-Rise Architecture Thailand, and NOMINEE / Residential High-Rise Architecture Asia Pacific.
Up to three projects in each category win the AWARD WINNER – Residential High-Rise Architecture Thailand acclaim. The Bangkok Thonglor is one of two award-winning entries from Thailand in this category.
As one of three award-winning entries from Thailand, Land and Houses also earned the Best – Residential High-Rise Architecture Thailand recognition.
Finally, in the NOMINEE / Residential High-Rise Architecture Asia Pacific category, The Bangkok Thonglor Project was selected as Thailand’s entry for competition in the next round. Its competitors in Asia Pacific include the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. The outcome of the regional contest will be announced this December.
Resembling the “Jewel of Thonglor”, the exterior of The Bangkok Thonglor Project is sparkling, as it contains mirrors all-around and is made even more special with natural materials such as striped marble and copper, which render the structure an outstanding touch along with a unique identity and modernity. Residents remain the heart of design; full-floor facilities are located on the top three floors as a virtual penthouse for all residents. The 28th floor houses the Sky Reading Lounge and the Sky Fitness. The 29th floor houses the Sky Japanese Onsen, which contains a Japanese onsen system and settings—a first among Thailand’s condominiums. Finally, the 31st floor contains a 360-degree Sky Swimming Pool, which affords residents a unique experience of rare “galaxy swimming”.
