Donation to combat COVID-19

Alongside the Thai society in its struggle against COVID-19, Land and Houses Plc recently donated 1,000,000 baht in support of the development of innovations and medical apparatus along with the donation of 4,000 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) to seven hospitals.

On April 23, 2020, Mr. Adul Chuvanichanon, Managing Director (second right), presented 1,000,000 baht in donation to Professor Dr. Suchatchavee Suwansawas, President, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (second left, top photo). The fund will go into the development of innovations and production of swab-testing boxes for the COVID-19 screening points of 11 positive pressure rooms at Chumphonkhet Udomsak, Chumphon province (2); Thalang Hospital, Phuket province; Chalong Hospital, Phuket province; Mission Hospital, Phuket province; Or Bor Jor Hospital, Phuket province (2); Maharat Nakhon Hospital, Chiang Mai province (3); and Bang Saphan Hospital, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. By means of these swab-testing boxes, these hospitals can keep their personnel safe, save on PPE, and screen people entering the hospital interiors, thus minimizing the spread of germs inside their facilities.

On April 22-27, 2020, Land and Houses also presented 4,000 PPE sets to seven hospitals, namely Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thammasat University Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Siriraj Hospital, BMA General Hospital, Rajavithi Hospital, and Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute. These PPE sets support health care workers attending to at-risk and infected patients amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Land and Houses looks forward to contributing to the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that Thailand can overcome this crisis.
