Concerned about COVID-19 impacts on members of the public suffering from business shutdowns, employment dismissal, loss of income, inability to earn their livelihood, and other impacts on their lives, Land and Houses Plc has coordinated with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) the distribution of lunch boxes to those in distress. The boxes are to be distributed at four BMA-designated spots: Yannawa District, at the Wat Chong Lom Temple sports plaza; Bang Na District, at Bang Na Nai Temple; Phra Khanong District, at Wachirathammasathit Worawihan Temple; and Samphanthawong District, at the Chinatown Gate. Each day from April 28 to May 15, 1,000 lunch boxes, each containing ready-to-eat food and a bottle of drinking water, will be distributed at these four spots except on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays—altogether 11 days. District offices will be responsible for orderly and hygienic distribution, including proper mask-wearing, social distancing, and alcohol handwashing.
During critical periods such as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Land and Houses volunteers itself as an eager part of the helping hand for those in need.
